Shimano Stradic FI Spinning Reel
Shimano, the Japanese fishing reel company has once again outdone itself with its Shimano Stradic FI Spinning Reel. ‘Durability’ is the key word in this spinning reel with its new-fangled Paladin Gear Durability Enhancement. It basically means that the reel uses cold-forged aluminum drive gear along with brass pinion gear which has been especially hardened.
It has been found that a combination of metals gives more stability to the gear as compared to stainless steel alone. This also imparts a glossiness and smoothness to the reel.
Its Propulsion Line Management System uses a propulsion spool lip which helps in casting longer distances. It also prevents wind knots and backlashes from forming and affecting your fishing. The Stradic FI is is lightweight with reduced bouncing of the fishing line, which usually is a problem with other standard fishing reels.
A waterproof drag ensures that the reel is free from water intrusion and dirt. The maintenance is easy as its shielded A-RB Bearings keep it rustproof and prevent dirt etc from seeping into it. For precise casting, the Aerowrap II Oscillation gear system has been incorporated into the reel.
