The revolutionary Shimano Calcutta TE Digital Control Bait Casting Reels Model: CTE100DC by Shimano is primarily a “Self energizing, digital braking” bait cast reel that features eight levels of pre-programmed braking modes based on lure and casting types. During the initial phase of casting, the rotation of the spool generates energy that is stored and can be utilized for power generation of the digital brake system, enabling continuous casting.
The digital control system ensures that the Calcutta TE DC can recharge itself with each subsequent cast. The brake frequency updates at every 1/1000 of a second. The fishing gear is made of “Precision machine cut aluminum frame” making it durable and very lightweight. The “Super stopper anti-reverse” ensures smoothness during operation.
The recessed reel foot accounts for excellent grip and comfort when handling.
